you might have to zoom to see the whole thing..

tip: to start a command over, send "x"

instructions:
As ships complete trades between cities, hostile submarines lurk beneath the water. They will follow and attack ships, but in doing so they let the ships know where they are, revealing the grid square they are in.

You control the game with morse code messages.

Using the information you have, send the plane to the predicted location of submarines and drop bombs to eradicate them.

SPACE - send morse signal
LMB - draw
RMB - erase

it's plausible that you might have to wait a bit before ships start spotting submarine periscopes...

commands are executed when suffixed with "x"

-"sct" = send plane to grid square. needs an argument afterwards like "e5"

-"bmb" = drop bomb where plane is

-"hide" = make ship(s) still and invisible to submarines. they will also not spot submarines...
-"halt" = halt ship(s)

-"clr" = clear effects from previous commands

messages you will hear:

p [grid] -- periscope

sos -- ship has been sunk

hit -- submarine has been sunk

Though I've made some unfinished projects before, this the first "finished" game I have produced in godot, and my first game jam entry. I learned a lot from making it. It does seem kinda riddled with strange design decisions, and any specific criticism is highly appreciated. I would also like to know if there are any specific aspects of this game that stood out as "good". I am looking forward to turning in a better game for LD jam 60.
